Sinikka was born in Kirkcaldy, Scotland in 2002 to South African-Italian and Finnish parents. In 2006 she moved to Austria. Through ballet she developed a passion for performing; and at the age of 12 she started writing songs. In 2020 she was awarded the "Youngster of Arts" prize by her hometown St.Pölten. In 2021 she took part in the RTL show I Can See Your Voice. In 2019 Sinikka Monte received The Joe Zawinul "Z" Award for her exceptional talent and passion for music. Her unreleased song made it to the semi-finals of the International Songwriting Competition in 2020. In 2021 Sinikka received the 3rd prize in the Songwriting Award der Austrian Composers Association ​
